I swear I saw this answered somewhere recently, but I can't find it
when I need it.
I'm trying to run the 32-bit pre-built Thunderbird binaries on an AMD64
system--Ubuntu, to be exact. There isn't a pre-built package for the
version I want, so the daily PPA isn't an option. While TB launches
fine, it fails to launch accessibly.
Launching in the console, I see lots of errors with libraries, but
notably I see roughly this, which I'm loosely transcribing as I don't
have working email on the affected box:
Failed to load module atk-bridge: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
Like I said, despite these errors, the app seems to load and work OK,
just without accessibility. And it can clearly find the module, but I'm
guessing there's an issue with the fact that my modules are 64-bit and
the app isn't.
Is there a way to get pre-compiled apps for 32-bit architectures working
with Orca? Or is my only option to rebuild?
Thanks.
