Hi,
Which version of orca are you using?
There were an issue with brlapi during 2.27.x but these were fixed for
orca 2.28.

I am currently using Orca-2.28.1; as it turns out, the problem ended up not
being strictly related to Orca, but something else entirely.

Hi all. For some reason, Orca isn't starting, presumably because it is trying to
use BrlAPI, which is not installed because I don't have a braille display. In
user-settings.py, I have:
orca.settings.enableBraille = False
orca.settings.enableBrailleMonitor = False

I am currently using Orca-2.28.1. Anyone have any ideas of why ORca is trying to
use braille support, and how I can difinitively disable it? Thanks.
