Re: [orca-list] Tables in Oo Writer

Hi Steve,

I just had a play with this.

In OO Writer I can use Orca + R and Orca + C to mark a table row and column as a header then Orca repeats this cell's contents when I move through cells in that row/column.

So the keystroke seems to be not just for Calc.

I'm using Orca 2.26.2 on Ubuntu Jaunty with OO 3.

Very handy!
Paul

Hey, I love the new stuff supporting table navigation in Open Office
Writer; Thanks to Joanmarie for the hard work on that recent RFE!

But now I have a silly Oo quesiton. How do you mark a row or column
to be a table header? The new navigation stuff talks about being able
to recognize table headers like in Mozilla. I just can't seem to find
any options to mark the selected cell in the table to be a row/column
header.  I believe the Orca commands for this applies only to Oo Calk;
is that right? I also think it is called dynamic headers; I thought I
would test out this feature to see how it works. Can anyone help out
an Open Office newbie here?
