I need to be a pain here - for every off topic e-mail someone sends, I 
get an order of magnitude more of private e-mail complaining that 
someone posted an off topic e-mail.

The impact on everyone is that I have to deal with unnecessary noise 
rather than Orca.  So, although you may think an off topic post may seem 
rather benign, you are in fact hurting the project.
