Now, how's that for quick tech support!!! I don't think I've ever seen
a commercial software package get fixed that quickly.  I mean, here we
sit playing around with our computers at hours like 2:30 AM Arizona
time and Will over there in the eastern time zone has a fix in place
within less than an hour of original reporting.  And most of all, it
works! <smile>.  Thanks for picking up on this so quickly.  It feels
good to be back in the gnome saddle and I'm now running 2.27.2 so I
can go off and test that new fix for OO Writer.

I don't even use brltty though. In the past, I guess this never came
up but when I fell back to an older git version, I guess it didn't go
back far enough or something because I still can't get it to work. I
guess I'll try and reinstall the original dropline-gnome version of
orca and see if that will go. Dropline-gnome for slackware is a
2.24.3 release or something.

BTW, when working from the latest sources in GIT, I would not recommend
that you ever replace the Orca under /usr until you are sure the latest
sources are working properly. What I do is run autogen.sh with a
command line option of --prefix=`pwd`/bld instead of --prefix=/usr. When
I then do a make install, I can run Orca via the bld/bin/orca that will
be created under the source directory.

I just did a git-pull from git://git.gnome.org/orca, notice that the
Changelog shows the most recent changes, I did a .autogen.sh
- --prefix=/usr, make, and make install and all appeared good so far.
However, When I do a 'startx' to start up my gnome session, Orca
