Personally I prefer Thunderbird to Evolution. I find that it reads
better in most places and doesn't exhibit the odd cursor movement
behaviors that Evolution sometimes gives you when reading a message. I
just wish it integrated better with GNOME, that's Evolution's one big
advantage is that it integrates with other GNOME applets like the
deskbar if you want to do email searching. Still, thunderbird does the
job better for me.
If you do install Thunderbird though, make sure you use the latest
3.0b2 release and not version 2.0 that typically comes packaged with
most systems. 2.0 is not very useable at all with Orca.
