Greetings Will, I was hoping to stick with the LTS releases of Ubuntu. I know there are periodic fluctuations in the stability of the master branch of orca, and it's recommended to match orca to your gnome release (Hence running orca 2.22.3 on Ubuntu Hardy). I'll try downloading from git either the master or the 2.26 release and see if it all holds together. If it turns out that running the newest orca on an older platform is too incompatible, I'll just roll back to what works. As I said, I have my own work around and the issue appears to be limmitted to hotmail. Just my boundless curiosity wondering why something that works elsewhere, didn't work in this one instance. My suspicion is the bulk of the problem would be in non-conventional coding (probably not even related to the table) being misinterpretted between firefox and at-spi. But i don't know how to prove it. Windows Live™ Hotmail®: Search, add, and share the web’s latest sports videos. Check it out. |
