greetings, I appologize, I know this comes up frequently. Personally, I find the adobe "save as text" option for acrobat next to useless (half the time, each word ends up on its own line, if not split over 2-3 seperate lines). And when it comes to technical information with equations and such, it is useless. What is the possibility of a pdf2xhtml converter? Such an application would be more useful in that with xhtml+mathml, basic structure and important contant is preserved. Also, such a feature could be considered favorable to the wider population at large, and not just the subset of screen-reader users. Does such an idea sound reasonable/practicle to others? If so, what is the best avanue for such an implimentation? I don't have strong enough programming skills to start such a project, and It appears that many projects with high expectations start off well and quickly fade into obscurity/sstagnation. Thank you:-) See how Windows Mobile brings your life together—at home, work, or on the go. See Now |
