Hello list,

If any one else has installed ubuntu 9.04 and are having trouble with
orca. It is not orca that is the problem it is pulse audio. you can
issue this command sudo apt-get remove --purge pulseaudio. After this
orca will be all set.

Does this mean that once pulsaudio is removed (purjed ), things will
automatically fall back to alsa?
I am asking this because I am interested to know how orca will still be
all right when the link to streeming the output to soundcard is not
there?

Do we not have to set it to alsa manually?
happy hacking.
