[orca-list] Orca and the 'nice' command?

Has anyone experimented with the 'nice' command that allows you to prioritize
or unprioritize processes so they get more CPU time in relation to Orca
and/or espeak? I was just wondering if this might improve the performance of
Orca on older, slower PC's etc. The only problem seems to be that you need to
have root permissions to increase the priority of a process, while anyone can
decrease the priority of a process they own. I will have a play with the orca
-no--setup mode and see if it makes a difference!
