I don't know about the method being discussed but GRML can be used to
install debian, just look at the grml-debootstrap command
(http://grml.org/grml-debootstrap/). It seems like you can customise the
system you install if you want to.

Wow, seems I missed that hack some where.
I don't know if any other person wanted the software based talking
installer for debian, but I needed it badly.
So who ever posted that "hack " (I hope jakeb will not be flamed for
that word ), please post it again.
I would really love to run the debian installer with orca or any speech
synthesizer.
