that should be your card. If you do ifconfig you
should see something that says either ath0 or wlan0 and will say the types of
wireless modes it supports 802B/G something like that.
You would then do
iwconfig scanningg
to scan for networks
to connect you do
iwconfig wlan0 essid "thenetworkname"
dhclient3 wlan0
this is asuming that your card is listed as
wlan0.
the above does not connect to secured networks. for
wpa networks you would have to creat a file using wpa_su[plicant.

Hi folks, after booting into the Live CD and
typing lspci or something like that I found the following listed:
Intel Pro/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection.
Linux called it a network controller. However, it made no mention of this when
I ran iwconfig from what I could tell hope this hleps.
