I am curious to know why I can't play audio, like
music, with IBM viaVoice using gnome-speech, while I can do this with espeak
using gnome-speech. I am setting everything to use pulse audio using the latest
ubuntu 8.04. is this a fault in viavoice drivers? or in the IBM
distribution I am using, currently voxin? anything I can do to track this
problem?
don't get me wrong, but being so much used to
eloquence, it makes sense to use it under ubuntu until I get the hang of the os
itself. I am going there very well.
also, somebody asked about using 2 sound cards, one
for orca, and the other for the system audio output. is this
doable?
