Hi,
When I am editing a message and Orca is controlling the carat, word navigation is not consistent. Some of
the time, when navigating by word using control-right arrow and control-left arrow, the carat behaves like
a Windows application, with the carat arriving at the beginning of the word, whether movement was in
either direction. At other times, movement is consistent with Orca, where the carat moves beyond the word
being spoken. In this case, if you are moving forward through the document, the carat rests just after the
last letter of the word spoken. If you are moving backwards through the document, the carat rests in
front of the first letter of the word that was spoken.
I can confirm this, and as a work around I suggest turning off Orca
caret navigation by pressing Orca+F12.
Hermann
