[orca-list] sound and administration

hi all,

I have been away from orca and linux for a while, and I have a couple of 
questions:

has the situation with the administration under ubuntu changed? do we still 
have to create that wierd .orbet file for it to speak? not that I am 
complaining, but I could never get that solution to work in the past.

how about ssound? is it still not possible to play audio with orca at the 
same time like before?
