Cool. My machine doesn't have the capability to play the video you've linked to -- do you have a textual description of the project?

I would like to create some key bindings with the mouse but it seems impossible to lock some buttons or use any button of the mouse as a modifier.

1) is there a way to create key bindings with the mouse?

I'm not quite sure what functionality you are trying to provide. Can you describe more? You can definitely synthesize keyboard events with the AT-SPI, and you can definitely get mouse events.
