hello everyone,
I've installed a ceptral voice to test with orca. However, I am not sure how to get orca to see the
cepstral engine to switch to it. Since i'vve not heard back from capital acesibility concerning ttsynth I
would try something else in the mean time. I'm hoping to get ttsynth back to try it with orca. If anyone
has any recommendations for any other synthesizer other then espeak please advise.
What distribution are you using? If you are using either Ubuntu 7.10 or 8.04, make sure you have the
multiverse repository enabled in /etc/apt/sources.list, and install the gnome-speech-swift package. This
should get things set up so you can use orca with cepstral.
Hope this helps.
Luke
