Subject: [orca-list] Thunderbird/Firefox: Mnemonics not spoken for menu items

Hi,

When I pull down a menu in either Thunderbird or Firefox, the names of
the items in the menu are spoken, hot keys are spoken if available, but
there is no way to determine the mnemonic for a menu entry. For
instance, the "Save" item in the File menu often has the mnemonic `s',
so that a user can press Alt-f s to activate the "Save" item in the menu
without having to arrow down through the menu to reach that item.

These mnemonics are not spoken as focus reaches the menu item, nor are
they available by pressing Keypad-Enter.

Is anyone seeing these menu mnemonics?

Thanks,

dave
