I'm now running Orca from the trunk branch; will this patch work there
too? I couldn't remember if that needed a fix in espeak or where. It
does make sense to have something in Orca as you could not her
individual characters when arrowing over them with the review keys.
I really don't wanna bounce back and forth between 2.20 branch and the
newer trunk svn versions. I had enough troubles last week with miss
match libraries or something. At least my machine is working good now
and am able to use the latest versions of Orca. Thanks though.

this is fine while reading line by line or word by word but if
I am reviewing character by character, I would hope to hear the

Hello Steve and others who noticed this problem. A patch against the
gnome-2-20 branch can be found at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=512608 - your testing and
comments are welcome...
Best regards, Tomas
