Re: [orca-list] Speech Dispatcher 0.6.6 Released

Thanks Hermann, Steve, and Adam for your responses.

Glad to hear the festival ustils aren't build requirements, despite what
INSTALL says.

Also glad to hear there's a newer speechd_up than I found on the bsoft
site. Now that I know what I'm looking for, I'm sure I'll find the
source for a potential Fedora rpmbuild. It is a bit annoying that files
on bsoft don't sort logically.

Also, the latest speechd_up appears to be
0.3rc1 from 2005. Is that correct? A two plus year old build is still an
RC?

The latest speechd-up is 0.4, but you cannot find it in a lot of
archives.
However you can get it via the Ubuntu archives.
There are important improvements in 0.4, so that a non-English
speaking/writing user can use it.
