Hi Christian, Yes, the same issue is affecting Firefox accessibility also. Apparently there was a change in Gtk+ and gnome-settings-daemon that affected the accessibility of non-Gtk+ apps that use Gtk+. So that includes at least Open Office, Firefox, and Mono Windows Forms. I will let you all know when the issue is resolved, it should hopefully be a matter of a few days at most. Thanks, Brian G. Merrell

In fact, some members of the Mono accessibility team (to which I belong) are working pretty much exclusively on this because it affects the accessibility of Windows Forms also.
