Good evening, Any resources or links to good discussions on running dotNet applications on mono with Orca would be appreciated.
Hi E.J.! I am a member of the Mono Accessibility team. Let me share with you our project goals: Project Goals * Make System.Windows.Forms applications accessible via ATK * Make Silverlight (http://silverlight.net/) applications (using Moonlight) accessible via ATK * Allow UI Automation based Accessibility Technologies to read Linux applications built on ATK Because we are making System.Windows.Forms and Silverlight applications accessible via ATK, Orca will be able to read these applications. We recently made our first release[1]; it includes a subset of System.Windows.Forms controls--and includes some bugs :). Future releases will become more stable and add more controls. Silverlight/Moonlight work will begin this year. Please visit our web page for more information: http://www.mono-project.com/Accessibility We're on #mono-a11y on irc.gimp.org, and you can reach our mailing list at mono-a11y forge novell com (subscribe here: http://forge.novell.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-a11y). I hope that helps! Please let me/us know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Brian G. Merrell [1] http://www.mono-project.com/Accessibility:_Release_Notes_0.9
