Re: [orca-list] Run orca in minimized window

I think this will work for you. Go into the Orca Preferences window
and stay in the General tab. Tab once and you should hear a checkbox
to show the Orca main window. Uncheck that and exit the preferences
with the OK button and I think Orca will not be in the tab list. I
used to use this for a while but found myself to be more comfortable
with it around particularly when no other apps were running or when
something crashed or even if Orca would crash. It just gives me a bit
of a "warm and fuzzy" feeling to see Orca as a running task. I may
eventually go back to this method shortly now that Orca seems more
stable for the most part.

Hello!

I am using Orca and its runs from GNOME autostart settings. So there is
*.desktop file in my ~/.config/autostart directory and it has X-GNOME-autostart-enabled parameter.

Everything is fine but on every startup Orca window is shown and
I usually minimize it manually each time.

Is there a way to enforce Orca start already in minimized form?

Thanks!
