Oh Yes,

And this is very big chance for developers, who could also exist in The 
community of visually impaired users to do somethink so Ubuntu could work so 
fast without latency with Espeak such as Opensolaris, but may be, that it 
will be never possible because of complex programmers circumstances, such as 
audiosubsystems had to be modified. Those modules are complex programs 
written in C language and modifiing them is requiring many programmers 
knovledge, including deep device drivers architecture knovledge.
