Hi, Steve,

I've used Adobe's acroread with Orca. It allows me to read documents,
but a lot of internal stuff, like bookmarks, don't work. For more

If you want to stick with Evince and flat review, you might try
pressing keypad-minus after pressing the page down key. Theoretically,
this routes flat review to the current cursor position. However, in
testing flat review for Thunderbird, I found that this will refresh
the flat review buffer when the page down or page up key fail to cause
the buffer to be refreshed.

You might also use a script provided by Javier. It starts evince, copies
the whole content to the clipboard and pastes it into Gedit.
I think you can find it in the Orca wiki, but I've forgotten the place;
I guess in the section dealing with PDF.
