I won't quote your top output, since it's interspersed with terminal escape
sequences that it would be better not to post: next time, try, for example,
top -b -n 10 > /tmp/top
However, reading that output shows the proportion of time which your CPU
spends waiting for the completion of i/o to be very high and increasing
rapidly. It isn't clear from the information that you've provided which
process or processes are responsible, and I'm not sure which command would
show this - perhaps the status field in ps would indicate which processes are
in waiting state, and might help to track down the offender.
