Re: [orca-list] instaling ubuntu insdieof windows

Hi Joe.

Basically to answer your questions after you hit install within windows, a folder called ubuntu gets created on your c:\ partition and after the install is complete, when you reboot your pc, a menu appears on screen asking if you want to boot in to ubuntu or windows.
Please note you may need sighted assistance the first time you start your ubuntu session aafter a reboot.
also before clicking install, click the accessablility button in the installation program and choose the radio button that says screen reader. also when selecting a size for the ubuntu folder and how much space it will use, i'd choose around 10 gigs or there abouts. If anyone has anything else they think i've missed or is incorrect, please let us all know.

Let us all know how your install goes within windows and after the reboot how you choose wether you want windows and or ubuntu and if you wait which o s comes up by default.
Apparently from what i've been told if you don't like ubuntu you can boot in to windows and remove ubuntu via add  remove programs in the control pannel.
Also when choosing which o s to boot in to, you have to use your arrow keys to do this.
