Hi, I'm brand new, so take what I say with a grain of salt.
I was able to get the live CD to come up speaking. I was able to
install using the workaround. I can boot in to 7.10 with speech.
Is it working properly, well, I don't know what exactly properly is
because I'm a new user, but it definately talks.

At least on my end I was not able to get orca to come up at boot. I'd stay
away from it for now until we get confirmation that these problems are
fixed.

Hi all.
The Ubuntu 7.10 was released some days ago, and I decided to download the
CD. I haven't tested this version yet, because I read from the archives
that
some users had problems with 7.10 beta. My question is, are these problems
fixed in the stable distribution which I have?
Thanks for your responses!
Kindest regards
Tuukka
