Dear listers,
We're trying to get a Braillex EL 2D-80s braille display running with
Orca, but did not succeed so far.
We were told, the slimline series might not be supported by Orca so far.
Does anyone have any experience using one of those slimline products?
We installed Feisty with Orca 7.02 and got a Braille Star 40 running,
though showing "Screen not in text mode". After using
sudo killall brltty
sudo brltty -t de
the braille display works fine. Do we have to enter those commands every
time we start Ubuntu?
Can we use both braille displays alternately with the same Ubuntu
installation? Or does this cause any problems?
Sorry, if this is off-topic, but it seems like you are the right people
to ask *smile*
Thanks for your help!
Martina
