Re: [orca-list] Couldn't install orca

are you compiling from svn or a downloaded tarball?

I just checked out revision 2544 and it compiles and installs fine on
i386

remember once you are inside the orca svn directory then do:
svn up
then:
./autogen.sh
then:
make
make clean
sudo make install

wikipage for installing and upgrading Orca:
http://live.gnome.org/Orca/DownloadInstall

If you still have problems then let us know if you are upgrading,
installing from skratch and/or what ever information you think might be
helpful.

Hope this helps

Hello

When I make install orca, it says:
No rule to make target `gnome-power-manager.py', needed by
`install-orca_pythonPYTHON'.
