Orca Adobe Reader doesn't start

Hi,
I had to reinstall Acroread, but after that it won't start, producing the 
following error message:

GTK Accessibility Module initialized

(acroread:13041): Pango-WARNING **: Invalid UTF-8 string passed to pango_layout_set_text()

(acroread:13041): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_text_buffer_emit_insert: assertion `g_utf8_validate (text, len, NULL)'

Unable to initialize user interface.

What to do?
