try out orca with firefox 3.0a1 I just tried it out the other day and I
must say I may just switch right over to firefox now cause its that
good.
Wow! I still think our Firefox 3.0 support has a lonnnnnnnnnng way to
go to become compelling, and I sometimes become daunted by the work
needed to get there. But...it's great to hear that people are plugging
away at it and are having some success. Thanks!

PS - are you using Firefox's caret navigation or Orca's? By default,
Orca let's Firefox handle caret navigation, but you can let Orca take it
over by doing the following in your ~/.orca/user-settings.py or
~/.orca/orca-customizations.py files:
import orca.Gecko
orca.Gecko.controlCaretNavigation = True
