I'm not subscribed to the Orca list, so, if this doesn't get posted there,
please repost it for me if you think it should be.
The Pyrex requirement is not an Orca requirement. Instead, it's
required by BrlAPI to build the Python bindings for BrlAPI. As such, it
is something that needs to be handled by the folks that build/ship
BrlAPI.
It's only a build-time dependency so any tarballs or rpms we supply wont be
dependent on Pyrex. The configure script for brltty already warns about this
condition:
Python BrlAPI bindings not included: pyrexc not found
This warning could get easily overlooked, of course, if configure's --quiet
option isn't being used due to all that "checking whatever" output that's
generated.
