Hi Mike,
you almost did the right things. But you have to select Orca as speech
output for Firevox. You find this in the tools menu.
Note: I suppose you want Orca as speech output; you can also install the
free TTS speech, which is a java application. If you want to do so,
please check out the installation guide on Charles' homepage.
Second note: Firevox doesn't speak in all parts of Firefox. If you want
to set up Firefox using Orca as screen reader, you must temporarily
move/rename the Firefox.py. This is a important disadvantage of using
Firevox.
