This is indeed the case. 0.6.4 final was released not long after I put 0.6.4 beta into Ubuntu, and no changes 
were made, however I did include two important patches in the Ubuntu package, one of which I wrote myself, 
and the other was written by another membe of the community, to fix some 64-bit issues.

Just a note on 0.6.5, I will be making backported packages of 0.6.5 final, as well as the latest orca etc in 
the next couple of days.
