The only way I can seem to run admin tools is to do the method where you do a gnome-terminal, sudo su, quit orca, run orca --no-setup --disable=main-window &, and then the tool. That's a lot of work. Now I know why people on forums wish they could just reenable root although sighted users presumably don't have to do all of this.

Hi Joanie,
starting the network-admin from the Gnome terminal leads immediately
into the dialog without asking teh password; a bit strange.
