[orca-list] can't figure out how to do admin tasks in orca?

hello all,
I am getting more and more fun and productivity out of orca ever since
I installed ubuntu feisty and latest orca and firefox etc.
I now am stuck in one area, namely installing softwares and getting
updates with package manager.
can some one tell me how to use psynaptec package manager?
I tried it but after entering the password for admin, I don't get any
speech output.
now, it is very donting to expect every one to remember every possible
package name and do sudo apt-get install foo.
if package manager can at least become some what accessible, it will be great.
can some one give me a quick tip as to how I can do this?
