hi people once again.
ok, I got the drivers for my sound card. it comes
with an install file, so it went smoothly.
however, orca won't speak if you play a music file.
each time any audio file plays I have to restart orca. the sound quality is
lovely though, I dare say more lovely than it is when I use
windows.
I tried to play with system / preffeences / sound /
devices, and changed from "auto audio" to "alsa" but that didn't do anything,
all the same. any thoughts?
note that my sound card is multi track cabable, and
it works fine with say jaws and winamp together under windows.
