Hi Cody,
You know, when in openoffice and at the top left of the edit field,
and press the plus key only the first line is read and not the whole
document.
I'll try this out on Monday. Thanks for reporting it.
also, when in open office writer, pressing f10 does not
announce that you are in the menu bar until you press the arrow keys
only then does the user know they are in the menu.
I filed an OpenOffice bug filed for this problem back on March 30th:
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=63818
Also, I think it
would be nice to know when in all applications when a menu bar is
unfocused and a menu closed from a top menu bar. a message should be
spoken like "leaving menu bar" then returns to the previous focus
point...this is all via orca 1.0 final
I'll let Mike (and other users of Orca) respond to this one.
Also I filed a bug about
announcing blank lines like saying "blank" or something I didn't get
any feed back on this. I just don't think no speech on a blank line is
very responsive and people might think orca has froze or something.
I do remember this, but I just went to try to find it, to find the status
of it, and it's not showing up (even as having been fixed or closed).
I actually think that GNOME Bugzilla search is broken, as I went looking
for all bugs assigned to "rich" and got a Zarro Boogs reply.
Will/Mike, can you remember the bug number of this one?
