Re: Orca Announcing v1.0.0

On Tue, 2006-09-05 at 09:17 -0400, Willie Walker thanked a lot of
people, but not quite everyone who needed thanking.

I suppose it would be tacky for Will and the Orca team to thank
themselves <grin>.... So:

Will, Rich, Mike and anyone behind the scenes that I'm unaware of:
THANK YOU. It's very clear from your enthusiasm -- and from the hours
you put in as evidenced from round-the-clock email responses -- that
this endeavor is not just a job for you all, but something you truly
care about and believe in. That sort of dedication is rare.

I also appreciate the efforts you are taking to achieve true universal
accessibility by helping the mainstream GNOME developers identify areas
of difficulty and patch them rather than simply coming up with
work-arounds in Orca.

And finally, I personally appreciate your helpfulness and patience.
Given how hard you all have been working to get Orca 1.0 released, and
given my many questions, I would have been fine with an "RTFM" --
ideally along with a pointer to the FM. :-) But instead, you've always
taken the time to provide and explain the information I need.

Thanks guys!!!
Joanie
