Hi Javier:
There is a nasty bug in gtk+ (see
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=326362) that can cause
gnome-panel to crash when accessibility is enabled and you bring up the
"Run Application" dialog with Alt+F2. When this happens, you can end up
in a long series of dialogs that say:
'The Application "gnome-panel" has quit unexpectedly.
You can inform the developers of what happened to help
them fix it. Or you can restart the application right now.'
The dialog is being presented by /usr/lib/libgnomeui-0/gnome_segv2,
which shows up as /usr/lib/libgnomeui-0/gnome_segv in a ps listing.
I've tested out whether killing it from a virtual console works, and it
seems to do the trick. So...the next time you get what appears to be a
hang, see if you can check for this process and kill it if it exists.
I'd be interested if that helps at all.

Hi to all
Willie, my system is a updated Ubuntu dapper drake, with latest
Orca cvs head, and the hangs comes in any application, specially when
changing between windows, pressing alt + tab, alt + f2 when Orca gets
"no focus" it hangs and I have to kill it. I always kill the
synthesis-driver too. I think i am a perfect killer :-)
I will try to do more testing to determine the hang.
Thanks.
Regards,
Javier.
