Orca numlock signal in orca

I have managed to sort out my problem with the Numeric pad on my laptop.
It was right about the Numlock being on which was why I kept getting 
eratic behaviour when trying to enter Orca's keystroke learning mode.
I also found if I hit Numlock in learning mode it would activate so when 
I escaped and then tried to do Insert F1 or 0 on my numeric pad and F1 
it would cause the problem I had.
I don't know if it is because I have a numeric pad, because I have a 
fairly old version of Orca or both but there doesn't seem to be a signal 
to tell the user when Numlock is on or off.
Has this problem been rectified in a later version of Orca so Orca 
announces Numlock off when it is off etc?
