Great, thanks.  I got orca up and running.

My first impressions are, I really like this much more than gnopernicus.
One queston, does orca have a controlpannel to be ab le to change settings?
If yes how do I access it?

Also, is there a guide on the commands for orca?

With respect to gnome-speech, the Java support is needed to build the
gnome-speech driver for FreeTTS.  If you don't a a need for this, the the
gnome-speech build should work fine without the Java access bridge.
