One other thing, I noticed when building gnome-speech, that there was java
support, is this for accessability?  If it is, how do I get it to recognize
my java access bridge?

Hi Juan:

You should be able to do this in three meta steps:

  o Obtain/install IBMTTS from IBM
  o Build gnome-speech, enabling the IBMTTS driver
  o Run orca-setup and choose the IBMTTS driver
