This is what ldd shows:

        libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x40053000)
        libglib-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 (0x40067000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x400ca000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x80000000)

No SSL stuff, I think. I don't remember any question about supporting SSL when
installing ORBit. There is not any way of disabling SSl support without
reinstalling???
