building orbit 0.5.8 on Solaris 7

I'm running into the following error building Orbit-0.5.8 on Solaris 7 with
gcc 3.0 and gnu make 3.78. Any help here would be great. I'm building these
in order based on the packages listed on the gnome ftp site. Thanks.
