Would Like to Contribute - Remote Desktop / Assistance

Hi all,

I have checked out and built the online desktop from sources. I am interested in contributing. One of the feature that can be integrated is Remote Desktop / Remote Assistance by using VNC. Although there are many existing clients with good front ends. I think it would be good to integrate it as some sort of Remote Desktop Widget in the BigBoard. (With chat in case of Remote Assistance)


Also there are many clients like Vinagre and many others and can be used to connect to systems within the LAN easily but when connecting to a remote desktop over the Internet many people running NAT routers it is difficult to establish the connection, Port forwarding has to done before we can establish a connection successfully, and there are also many techniques to establish connection by tunnelling through ssh (which also provides encryption) or through ssl. I think it would be a good idea to provide a front end for it.


Any Advice / Directions ?
