[gnome-love] gtk+ from cvs

Hej, hej!

I hope it's not offtopic to ask for help in this list. I tried to
compile gnome from cvs, so I can hack at the code, but I can't compile
gtk+. I downloaded the stable branch (1.2), and glib compiled and
installed fine, but the autogen of gtk+ can't find the macros
AM_PATH_PROG_WITH_TEST, AM_LC_MESSAGES and AM_PATH_GLIB.

I tried to ask in the developer and help channels of irc.gimp.org, but
noone could help me there.

Does anyone have any idea?
