This is the case, indeed. I was not aware of that flag, thank you!
That usually means that some other program is configuring the device.
Or it would be a bug... to investigate, check the `level=TRACE` log.
I can see, that an NM connection is created as "nm-generated, volatile,
external". Now I only have to find out, which program is the culprit.
So far, I have no idea.
At least, it does not seem to be a NM bug!
