Number of static IPv6 DNS servers limited to 3

Even thogh the 'ipv6 setting' of 'nm-settings-dbus(5)' doesn't mention this limitation.
The number of IPv4 DNS server seems to be limited to 10 DNS servers.

Is this by design?
